Davies Florist is a friendly family run business based in the heart of Newport City Centre that has been established for over 79 years.

Started in 1942 in Newport Market Beatty Davies and her husband Harold had a small stall selling flowers grown at their own local nurseries.

Naturally Beatty's Daughter Joan was introduced to the family business eventually opening her own shop in Upper Dock Street.

Joan's daughter Johanna also joined the flower trade opening her own shop, studied floristry at a North Wales college and eventually taught floristry at Usk College. That brings us to the present day where Johanna still runs the shop proudly boasting the family name.

Our highly trained and experienced staff are always on hand to provide a first class service. This allows us to provide customers with the best quality and value for money from a single flower to bouquets, floral arrangements and lavish ceremonies like weddings and corporate exhibitions. We also provide a personal at home service during times of bereavement.
